Recreation Ground Play Areas – CLOSED until further notice. No Safety Inspections will be carried out during the closure. The Playing Fields can be used for exercise ONLY – such as Walking/Jogging, etc. Please follow the Government’s advice on Social Distancing and stay 2 metres apart from those not in your household when outside.

Community Support Group

Christian Malford Parish Council is supporting James Forbes (Deputy Chairman of the Dauntsey Vale Link Scheme) who is coordinating a large number of volunteers and is compiling a list of residents that need help with essential supplies delivered to their homes, prescription collections, etc.  Anyone in need should contact James in the first instance on 07308 205646.

Please STAY ON THE FOOTPATHS and KEEP YOUR DOGS ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES – most of them are on private land and you only have permission to be on the official paths.

Christian Malford is a small village which lies on the B4069, just south of  the M4, about 9 kms from Chippenham and13 kms from Wootton Bassett. A rural community, with a population of 701, it is set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside by the River Avon.

Christian Malford is extremely well served with a 13th Century Church, an excellent Primary School, Village Shop & Post Office, Village Hall, Recreation Ground complete with its Pavillion and a Public House (The Rising Sun Inn).

The Village fully supports its amenities and has a number of thriving Organisations and Clubs which add to the quality of life of the community.

Its greatest strength is its people; it is a genuinely friendly village, extremely supportive with an excellent community spirit.
