Find out about the life of your local Church...............All Saints' Church is the centre for spirituality for Christian Malford. Acts of Worship take place each Sunday as advertised; usually at 11 a.m. but at 10 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. Other times of services are given in "Parish News". The building is open every day from 9 a.m. until sunset for personal, contemplative and meditative prayer. It is available for everyone and those who wish to find a sense of peace and the presence of God will not be disappointed.
A Church is more than a building. It is a community of people who are aiming to lead their lives in a better and more open way. We want the lives of our community and our world to be enriched by the insights of the Christian message. Being actively involved in the life of the Church is the best way to make that a reality. It's also a great way to make new friends. We have lots of activities spread throughout the year; many of them just to have fun together. The Church includes people of all ages and every imaginable background. It's for everyone and there's a place for you in everything we do.
Key people: The current churchwardens are Roger Carter (720810) and Nigel Fairley (721278). Clair Fairley (721278) is the PCC Secretary and Kevin May (720647) is the Church treasurer. David Meyrick (720562) is responsible for the Church's music and Rev Evelyn Bone (750519) deals with Baptism enquiries. The priest in charge is Geoff Hewitt (720070) and his wife is Chris; they live in the new Draycot Rectory in Sutton Benger.
The BENEFICE PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM is now set up to pray for anyone who would like to be held in prayer especially at particularly difficult times. Requests can be left in Church, telephoned to or by word of mouth to the Team members (Chris and Geoff Wheeler, 720074, Tony and Jan Gardener, 720227, Sue Collins 720605, Evelyn Bone, 750519, Chris and Diana Poore, 720579, Audrey Palmer, 750436 and Geoff Hewitt 720070) or e-mailed to geoffandchris@waitrose.com. Your request can be anonymous if you wish and all prayer requests will be treated as and remain strictly (and we mean strictly ) confidential.
