Recreation Ground

The Parish Council owns and maintains the recreation ground at The Green, Christian Malford.  Village cricket is played in the summer, football in the winter, and tug'o'war competitions are also held.  There is a well-used childrens play area.  The Village Fete is held there in the summer and the Bonfire and Fireworks evening in November.  Enquiries for bookings for sports and events should be made to the Parish Clerk on 721218.

Would you like to see improvements to  the "Rec"? We are currently looking at how to improve the facilities and will be shortly organising a public meeting to discuss what villagers would like to see in the future. SPORTS PAVILION

A sports pavilion was erected on the recreation ground by Christian Malford Sports and Recreation Association in 2001, as a result of much local fund-raising and grants received from various sources.  The pavilion is available for sports events, meetings, parties etc and enquiries for bookings should be directed to Maggie Dymond on 720977.
