New Government Consultations on Single-Use Plastic

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has launched two new consultations, both concerned with single-use plastic products and their impact on the environment.

DEFRA wants to know your thoughts on a plan to ban the supply of single-use plastic items such as plates, cutlery and polystyrene food and drink containers and also get your views on commonly littered single-use items including wet wipes, tobacco filters and sachets.

Both consultations close 12 February 2022.
